Simple Chakra Meditation

Just as our causal, physical body has certain organs with specified functions, so does our acausal, spiritual body (the soul). These organs are most commonly referred to as chakras, and healthy chakras are essential for the proper functioning of the soul, which in turn leads to the proper functioning of the body and mind. And just as the causal body can be empowered and trained through exercise, so can the soul–understanding and applying this is among the first steps of spiritual evolution.

The most effective way to activate the chakras combines light and sound–i.e., visualization and chanting.

THE MEDITATION:

Begin by visualizing a sphere of violet energy at the crown chakra. As you inhale, absorb violet energy into the chakra; as you exhale, vibrate “GURUAVE”. Repeat 7 times.

Bring the sphere of energy down to the brow chakra, changing its color to silver. As you inhale, absorb silver energy into the chakra; as you exhale, vibrate “CHANDRAMASE”. Repeat 7 times.

Bring the sphere of energy down to the throat chakra, changing its color to blue. As you inhale, absorb blue energy into the chakra; as you exhale, vibrate “BUDHAAYA”. Repeat 7 times.

Bring the sphere of energy down to the heart chakra, changing its color to green. As you inhale, absorb green energy into the chakra; as you exhale, vibrate “SHUKRAYA”. Repeat 7 times.

Bring the sphere of energy down to the solar chakra, changing its color to gold. As you inhale, absorb gold energy into the chakra; as you exhale, vibrate “SURYAE”. Repeat 7 times.

Bring the sphere of energy down to the sacral chakra, changing its color to red. As you inhale, absorb red energy into the chakra; as you exhale, vibrate “BHAUMAYA”. Repeat 7 times.

Bring the sphere of energy down to the root chakra, changing its color to black. As you inhale, absorb black energy into the chakra; as you exhale, vibrate “SHANISVARA”. Repeat 7 times.

This is just the “skeleton” of the working, and you can modify it however you wish. This meditation should be done every day in order to see powerful and lasting results.

 

The Promethean Office (advanced)

To be performed at least once daily with a quartz tetrahedron (at least 2″ tall). Essentially a form of internal magick; that is, intended to bring about a vast expansion of awareness into the acausal continuum, thereby enhancing psychic perception, magickal ability, and overall energy levels. The essence of the working could thus be said to be the transformation of mortal humans into higher spiritual beings. Though it requires a considerable amount of both time and skill, the effects of consistently performing the Promethean Office are profound and should not be underestimated.

I’m Kaos Butterfly and this is my blog (obviously) devoted the Left Hand Path, Order of Nine Angles, all things sinister and numinous, tips on sorcery, and anything else I deem relevant. I’m not trying to come up with anything big here–consider it an online journal for my musings, techniques, opinions, ambitions, and all sorts of other cool shit that you may or may not find worth reading. I imagine this will turn out more or less as an online book of shadows for me and others to look back on in the future. I’ll make some effort to post as much original content as possible, but of course I’ll have to occasionally include the obligatory regurgitated material that floods all ONA-affiliated websites. I’ve probably had at least a dozen blogs thus far that I never kept longer than a few months, but maybe this one will be the one that lasts… Yeah right. :p

I don’t have much to say at the moment so I guess I’ll leave it at that for now. Maybe I’ll do some more introductory shit later. We’ll see. Until then, I’m out.
